Our Haggis Sticks use our own Haggis, made to our family recipe. Unlike our Haggis Ball (shown in the photo), with a Haggis Stick the Haggis is in a plastic tube, which makes it easy to slice.
It is also ideal if you are catering for large numbers. Just take it out of the plastic wrapping and reheat in the oven or microwave. Cue lots of happy Haggis eaters.
For a main meal portion, we recommend 7-8oz (approx 200g) of Haggis per person. If using as an extra to the meal, go with 4oz (approx 100g) of Haggis per person.
Supplied chilled and Vaccum Packed. Store at < 5°C. See pack for shelf life. Suitable for freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and use within 6 months.
If freezing your Haggis Stick, you may want to slice it first, so you can defrost just the right amount each time you fancy Haggis for breakfast.
To reheat, take the Haggis out of the plastic wrapping and put in baking tray covered in foil in the oven. Make sure it is piping hot before serving. It can also be reheated in the microwave.
