Our team are here to help
These are difficult and challenging times as we all deal with the impact of Coronavirus (Covid-19). Here, at Scott Brothers, our committed team are working hard to help our customers continue to have access to the local, tasty food they love.
This is a changing situation and, depending on customer demands and supplier pressures, we may at some point have to restrict what people can order to core product lines only, but we will keep you informed. We are currently not offering our 42-Day Dry-Aged range.
With our local supply chains and strong supplier links, we have ample stock of Scotch Beef, Lamb, Pork and Chicken available to our customers. We have also been expanding our online range to increase customer choice in line with our tasty in-store range including Ready Meals. For in-store and telephone orders we also have fruit and vegetables.
We already have very rigorous hygiene processes and have implemented further infection control procedures within our stores and kitchens.
We continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation and Government announcements, and will update you if there are any changes to our service.
Thank you for continuing to shop with us and look after yourselves and others.
How to get your Scott Brothers order
At the moment, for all online orders including Click & Collect, place your order before 11 am two days before your chosen delivery date (for example for Wednesday delivery order before 11 am on Monday). Please note, during these busy times, our delivery slots may be taken early, so our advice is to book ahead.
Our shops – Our Strathmartine Road and Broughty Ferry stores are open, although our Strathmartine Road store’s opening hours have changed. As most retail stores have closed in central Dundee, we have temporarily closed our Nethergate store. This has allowed us to redeploy staff to handle our increased demand for local and online orders and deliveries, and serve customers in our busy Strathmartine and Broughty Ferry stores.
Click and Collect – Shop online or phone in your order on 01382 819417 and select to collect it from either our Strathmartine Road or Broughty Ferry store. There is no charge for the service and no minimum order. Please pick your order up from the store’s dedicated, queue-managed Click & Collect point, which is separate from the main shop area and clearly signposted.
Local Delivery – We provide a local delivery service if you live in a DD1 to DD5 or DD7 postcode area. Shop online or phone in your order on 01382 819417. Alternatively, if you live in a 20-mile radius but not in one of these postcodes, please phone in your order. The delivery charge is only £2.95, and delivery is free for orders of £50.00 and over.
If you are able to opt for Click and Collect over Local Delivery, it will mean we can save delivery slots for others more vulnerable. Thank you.
We also have extra in-store and home delivery product options for local customers to help you out at this time:
£10 Veg Essential Box – 1kg Carrots, 1 Head of White Cabbage, 1 Head of Broccoli, 500g Leeks, ½ Neep, 1kg Brown Onions, 5kg Potatoes
£14 Mixed Fruit and Veg Box – 1kg Carrots, 1 Head of White Cabbage, 1kg Brown Onions, 5kg Potatoes, 4 Apples, 4 Bananas, 500g Grapes, 4 Satsumas.
Just place your order with us online and choose a specific date. If your order is under £50 there is a £4.95 delivery charge. If your order is £50 or over, delivery is free. See our Delivery page for details.
