How does your UK Standard Delivery (tracked) service work?

Order before 6 am two days before your chosen delivery date (for example for Wednesday delivery order before 6 am on Monday).  If your order is under £30.00 there is a £10.95 delivery charge, and there is a £6.95 delivery charge on orders £30 to £60. If your order is £60 or over, delivery is free.

UK Standard delivery is available for most UK postcode areas. Exceptions are listed below. You can choose a delivery day in advance. Any delivery dates affected by public and bank holidays are marked in the delivery calendar at the checkout.

Standard delivery is unavailable to the following postcodes:

Your order will be delivered between 8.00am and 10.00pm, and will come in our special insulated packaging to keep it cooled at the right temperature for up to 72 hours. We don’t offer specific timed slots so please don’t request a time.

You don’t have to be in to receive your order, as no signature is required. However, at the checkout, you’ll need to enter instructions for the delivery driver about a safe place they can leave your parcel in case you won’t be in to take delivery, such as leaving it in your garage or with a neighbour*. Your instructions will only be read by your delivery driver if you’re out when they call to deliver your package. If it is more convenient you can arrange delivery to your workplace or to a neighbour at no extra charge. Please note that these are perishable goods, which cannot be returned.

Delivery is fully tracked, with delivery notifications via SMS and email provided by our carrier DPD. We’ll also email your tracking code once your parcel has been shipped from our shop the day before delivery.

DPD’s first notification is the day before delivery by SMS with tracking details provided and an email on the day of delivery. You can download their app for free from Google Play or Apple Store.

With the app or from the link you can track your delivery and you can change delivery details as needed. So, no worries about missing your delivery or changing arrangements.

Just remember, our packaging keeps your order properly chilled for up to 72 hours in the winter and 48 hours in the summer from dispatch.

We cannot be held liable for any arrangements you make outwith these timeframes.

We endeavour to deliver your order within 24 hours of dispatch from our stores.

We rely on a third-party courier and occasionally they may encounter delays; however, please remember that our packaging will keep your order properly chilled for up to 72 hours in the winter and 48 hours in the summer from dispatch, so a delay within these timeframes will not affect your order quality.

While we always work to deliver your order on time, we do not accept liability or responsibility for delays caused by events outside our control, for instance extreme weather conditions or traffic accidents. If you are ordering on behalf of someone else or as a gift it is your responsibility to notify them of the delivery details.

How does your UK Saturday Delivery (tracked) service work?

Order any day before 6am for delivery two days later. This means for a Saturday delivery you will need to place your order before 6am on the Thursday of that week and select Saturday Delivery at the checkout. There is a delivery charge of £10.95 for Saturday deliveries. Please note: we do not deliver on Bank Holiday weekends.

How does your Local Scott Brothers Delivery service work?

If you live in a DD1 to DD5 or DD7 postcode area, you qualify for our Local Scott Brothers Delivery service. There is no minimum order amount. The delivery charge is only £2.95, saving over our standard delivery service, and delivery is free for orders of £40.00 and over. To place your order call 01382 819417.

Please note that perishable goods cannot be returned. Please add any delivery instructions about where we can safely leave your order if you’re not in when we call to deliver.

Your order will be delivered between 8.30am and 5.00pm. We don’t offer specific timed slots so please don’t request a time. Your order will be delivered by one of our team in a Scott Brothers van. Don’t worry if you’re not in for the delivery. If you are not in for delivery our driver will check your instructions on where to safely leave the order*. While we always work to deliver your order on time, we do not accept liability or responsibility for delays caused by events outside our control, for instance extreme weather conditions or traffic accidents. If it is more convenient you can arrange delivery to your workplace or to a neighbour at no extra charge as long as the delivery address is in a local delivery postcode area.

How does your In-store Collection service work?

Simply call your preferred collection store to place an order.

For Strathmartine Road store collections phone 01382 819417.

For Nethergate store collections phone 01382 201342.

For Broughty Ferry store collections phone 01382 480125.

Just come in and say the order name to a member of our staff at the shop counter – we don’t have separate click & collect counters – and they will hand you your order. And don’t worry if you’ve forgotten something, you can always add it to your order in the store and pay for it then.

We’ll keep your order for three days from the time it is available for collection – so don’t forget to pop in and collect it! If it is not collected in that time, it will be destroyed.

If you want to cancel or amend an advance order, call the collection store as soon as possible during our opening hours to let us know and no later than the day before collection.

All stores open Monday to Saturday 08:00- 17:00, and closed Sunday.

Closed 1 January, 25 December, 26 December and 31 December.
