Chateaubriand is a lovely thick-cut tenderloin fillet of beef. It goes through a maturation process of at least 28 days to intensify the flavour and increase tenderness when cooked. Served medium rare with a Béarnaise sauce, it is your classic sharing steak.

Cooking Instructions
Remove all packaging and allow to sit for 15 minutes to bring up to room temperature. Season and sear on all sides in medium hot frying pan with a little melted butter, then place in a pre-heated oven at 180°C or Gas Mark 5 and cook for 15 minutes. (Medium)
